A California father dying of pancreatic cancer surprised his 11-year-old daughter with a pretend wedding, so he would have the chance to walk her down the aisle.

Jim Zetz, 62, reached out to photographer Lindsey Villatoro to set up a photo session, but she had bigger plans.

"I have an 11-year-old, so I basically just thought, if her dad wasn't here, what would she want?" Villatoro told "And I just thought about Josie being at her wedding in 20 years, and all of a sudden this video pops up and it's this little girl in an oversized wedding dress [walking down the aisle] with her dad."

She set up the surprise mini-wedding in the family's backyard in just three days, complete with designer gown, hair and makeup stylist, flowers, catering and even a pastor.

Josie had no idea what was coming, when the surprise was set for the day after her birthday. The pastor declared them "daddy and daughter" on March 28. The video, produced by Villatoro, is meant to be played at Josie's wedding, so that it will feel like her dad is with her in the event he passes away.
