RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Richmond Fire crews on-scene say a fire under the Mayo Bridge may have been sparked by a homeless man's grill or a discarded cigarette.
The fire sent plumes of heavy smoke into the air Tuesday morning. Fire officials haven't confirmed what caused the fire yet, but firefighters were investigating a grill at a homeless camp as a possible cause. They are also looking at a discarded cigarette.
