RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -
Friday is the last day to sign up for the Monument Avenue 10K.
Runners can sign up for Saturday's race at the Arthur Ashe Center for $55.
Nearly 40,000 people are expected to participate this year, making it one of the biggest road races in the country.
The forecast calls for rain, but organizers say the race will go on as scheduled, unless there is lightning or thunderstorms.
