Chesterfield restaurant reopens after 2013 fire

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - A restaurant closed by fire last year will re-open for business by the end of the month.

Carena's Jamaican Grille on Midlothian Turnpike has had several set-backs lately. It was closed for renovations to update its look, in keeping with the rest of the construction on Midlothian Turnpike. Just a few months later, a kitchen fire forced it to close for several months.

The restaurant serves Jamaican-style food, near the former Clover Leaf Mall.
