Two juveniles arrested last week in connection to over 50 vandalisms in a Hanover neighborhood are now facing additional charges after several brush fires in the area.
The Hanover Fire Marshal's Office charged the juveniles after fires were set in the Battlefield Green subdivision on March 1. The two juveniles are also charged in connection to a series of vandalisms in the area in December of 2013.
"These fires put lives in danger and place a strain on our resources," said Jethro Piland, Chief of Hanover Fire-EMS. "Our strong partnership with the Hanover County Sheriff's Office was instrumental in solving this case."
