Posted: Updated:
Roanoke city council continues to explore ways to address issues with skate-boarding. Specifically, local leaders are concerned about damage to Elmwood Park. Police believe skate-boarders caused scratches and thousands of dollars in damage to the nearly $7.5 million dollar project.

The city council has asked the Roanoke City Attorney to look into fines that could be imposed on those who do damage to Elmwood Park as the result of skate-boarding.
