Posted: Updated:
As the search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight 370 continues, people worldwide are helping scour satellite images for clues.

Digital Globe is posting satellite images on tomnod.com for users to scan. So far, the company has posted more than 24,000 square miles of images and more than two million people have joined the search.

At times, the amount of users has crashed the site, but they've helped tag 645,000 spots where they've seen possible wreckage, rafts or oil slicks that could help find the flight.

The company has widened the search area as the investigation has grown in scope. The hope is that all those eyeballs can flag an item that will lead to a breakthrough.
