VUU student's parents want suspect to come forward

Kahron Lee Kahron Lee

The family of a Virginia Union student killed just off campus is speaking out.

Kahron Lee's mother and stepfather are overcome with grief. That can't believe that their son, a star athlete attending college on an academic scholarship, could have been murdered.

The 20-year-old was leaving a study group late Sunday night when he was shot and killed just feet from his own front door.

Police believe he was the victim of a robbery attempt.

Right now, the killer is still on the loose, and Richmond Police are asking for help in finding suspects.

While police continue their search, Kahron's parents are in search of answers. Kahron's family is pleading for the suspect to come forward and face charges.

Kahron was majoring in technology at Virginia Union. He hoped to someday work for Google.
