Snow is over; Temperatures now above freezing

Snow is over

The snow, and all other precipitation has moved out of Metro Atlanta.  Temperatures are also back above freezing in Atlanta.

Friday night rain

Another fast-moving system will move through north Georgia Friday.  If you have plans Friday evening, expect some rain in Metro Atlanta after sunset.

State of emergency

A state of emergency remains in effect for 91 counties in Georgia.

    Police have arrested a suspect involved in a barricade situation in Chesterfield. It happened at a home in the 7000 block of Velvet Antler Drive, around 11:15 p.m. Saturday. Police were called to the home for a welfare check, and when they arrived, officers say the man inside, 49-year-old John Michael Loslo III, showed a weapon.
