Three suspects are on the run after a robbery on the campus of VCU. The victim says it happened in the 300 Block of Shafer Street at the alley entrance. We will tell you what we are learning.
All lanes of I-95 South have reopened near the Belvidere Street Exit in Richmond. They were closed after a car fire a little after Midnight. There was a half mile backup. We're still working to find out if anyone was hurt and what may have caused the fire.
Today we expect to learn from State Police whether the body found in a muddy field in Goochland -- is missing Police Captain Kevin Quick. Law enforcement sources tell us it appears the person was shot before their body was dumped.
Also, in a few hours, one of the two Richmond men accused of robbing multiple people at gunpoint in and around VCU's campus is due in court. Forrell Council faces several charges. Police say he and Leonard Bullock committed a total of four armed robberies within a three hour time period. Council is due in court at 9 this morning.
