Couple charged with robbing 4 Richmond banks

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

A Richmond man and woman face charges in four bank robberies in the city in November and December.

A grand jury indicted Jerry Henderson and Latoya Heath on four counts of robbery and two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery. Police say they robbed the SunTrust Bank on Broad Street near the Boulevard on November 21. Next, they're accused of robbing the Gateway Bank on Patterson Avenue and Willow Lawn Drive on December 4.

A week later, police say they robbed the BB&T Bank just blocks away on Patterson and Libbie avenues. They're also accused of robbing the New Generations Credit Union near the Diamond on December 17.
