Trial for Tony Williams, man accused of stabbing wife to death, begins today

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

The trial for Tony Williams, the man accused of stabbing his wife Mia nearly two dozen times and killing her in November of 2012, is set to begin today.

Tony is charged with 2nd degree murder.

Police say Tony stabbed Mia during an argument over the prospect of divorce. When Chesterfield Police arrived on scene, they found Mia's body with a knife stuck in her chest. According to Police, Mia's child called 911 for help.
