APPOMATTOX, VA (WWBT) -
It is one thing that could be a problem that you don't even realize. But it is easy to keep track of if you are on top of things.
We explain in this week's Neighborhood Health Watch.
Dr. John Clay is on the case of high blood pressure.
Normal blood pressure is less than 140 over 90. High blood pressure is often hereditary. It is known as the silent killer because most people are asymptomatic.
Maintain a low salt diet, exercise, weight loss, reduction in alcohol consumption, and take prescription medications.
See your doctor if your blood pressure is elevated on two or more separate occasions.
