A grieving father is pleading for answers after his teen daughter is found dead. 18-year-old Alyna Davis was found under the Dundas Road overpass in Chesterfield last week.
Alyna was laid to rest, Monday, but how she died remains a mystery.
"We just want to know what happened," said Alyna's sister Ashley Davis. "I keep waiting to wake up from a nightmare."
Family members are speaking out for the first time.
"We don't want revenge," said Ashley. "We just want answers. We just want to know what happened to our baby."
Alyna's father is offering a $500 reward for any information leading to an arrest. Keep in mind, police are only calling this a suspicious death. Police have not made a determination that an actual crime occurred. We are still awaiting the medical examiner's report.
The family, however, is convinced something is wrong. They say police can't find Alyna's cell phone.
"My daughter carries her phone all the time," said Alyna's father Glenn Davis. "And she would never leave her phone anywhere. Yes. I do believe foul play is involved in this situation."
Dad recalls an anonymous report of Alyna being seen walking with two men holding her up around 1:30 AM on Tuesday, January 14th. He says a passerby was concerned enough to question her well being.
"The lady asked was the girl alright and they said she is fine," recalls Mr. Davis. "She is just sick."
The family is now sick with grief.
"Please," said Davis. "As a dad, I am asking anyone with any information...I pray that you come forward."
