Henrico Police release name of Glen Allen homicide victim

HENRICO, VA (WWBT) -

Henrico Police released the identity of a weekend shooting victim Monday.

Police said Ronnie Emory Winstead Jr., 20, was found shot to death in a yard around 1:15 a.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of London Court.

Police do not know the motive and say the case is still under investigation. However, neighbors say the vacant home at the corner of London Drive and London Court is known for frequent parties. One neighbor said it appeared things got out of hand at the house party. He says when shots were fired people in the area scattered.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
