Connor Shaw meets and greets fans

The Gamecocks all-time winning quarterback took a break from preparing for the NFL draft to meet fans in North Charleston on Friday.

"I go to L.A. next week for the all-star game and when I get back, I'll be training for the combine in Atlanta," Connor Shaw said. "Right now my projected draft rate is around 4 to 6. The only thing I can control is my work ethic and better prepare myself for the draft, so that's all I focusing on right now."

Gamecocks fans can see Shaw in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl Jan. 18 on the ESPN Network. Kick-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET.
