Inauguration Road Closures

 

  

On Saturday, January 11, 2014 the inauguration of Governor-elect Terry McAuliffe will take place in Virginia's Capitol Square.  Therefore, several sections of roads in and around the Capitol complex will be closed. 

 

Some roads will be closed starting Friday.  The following are the roads that will be closed with the respective times:

 

                        Friday, January 10th 12:00 p.m. to Saturday, January 11th 6:00 p.m.

  • 10th Street between Main and Bank Streets

 

Friday, January 10th 7:00 p.m. to Saturday, January 11th 6:00 p.m.

  • Bank/Franklin Street between 9th and 14th Streets
  • 9th Street between Main and Broad Streets
  • Grace Street between 8th and 9th Streets
  • Franklin Street between 8th and 9th Streets
  • 12th Street between Main and Bank Streets
  • 13th/Governor Street between Main and Bank Streets

 

Saturday, January 11th 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • Grace Street between Jefferson Street and 9th Street
  • Franklin Street between Jefferson Street and 9th Street
  • Jefferson Street between Main and Grace Streets
  • Adams Street between Main and Grace Streets
  • Foushee Street between Main and Grace Streets
  • 1st Street between Main and Grace Streets
  • 2nd Street between Main and Grace Streets
