Suspect robs two clerks at Hanover business Tuesday morning

HANOVER, VA (WWBT) -

The Sheriff's Office is investigating a set of robberies in Hanover early Tuesday morning.

It happened around 2:45 a.m. at the Truck Stops of America at 10134 Lewistown Road. The suspect robbed a clerk at the service desk, then one at the fuel desk at a different area of the business. A gun was shown by the suspect, but no one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5'7" tall, and 170-180 pounds. He was wearing camouflage clothing, dark boots, white-rimmed sunglasses and a camouflage mask and was also carrying a blue duffle bag at the time of the robbery.
