Hopewell Police investigating Saturday morning home invasion

HOPEWELL, VA (WWBT) -

Hopewell Police are searching for three suspects in a violent home invasion.

Police say around 11:15 a.m. Saturday, the suspects knocked on the door of a home in the 300 block of S. 13th Avenue. They say when the victim answered it, three males forced their way in and assaulted the victim and stole a game system and games. No weapons were displayed during the incident.

The first offender is described as a white male with a slender build, 16-20 YOA, 5'5"-5'6", wearing black shoes, blue jeans, and a navy blue in color zip up, hooded sweatshirt with a dark shirt under it. The offender also had shoulder length dark hair. The other two offenders were only described as white males, between 16 and 20 years old, 5'8"-5' 10" and approximately 160 pounds.

The offenders were last seen leaving the area in a "beat-up" grey car. The vehicle was possible a late 1990 to a 2000 Ford Focus. They left the area in an unknown direction.
