DINWIDDIE, VA (WWBT) -

Technology contractor Elite Contracting Group has bought the former Rohoic Elementary School site on Route 460.

The 21-acre site near the Amazon facility will become the new headquarters for Elite and will be a mixed use light industrial and commercial facility.

"Dinwiddie is proud to have one of our homegrown businesses experience such outstanding growth," said Dinwiddie Board of Supervisors Chairman Dr. Mark Moore. "We are grateful for the investment and job opportunities such a project represents, and continue to be committed to supporting Elite locally."

Elite's local expansion represented the sixth business opening or expansion project in Dinwiddie County for 2013.
