RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Surveillance images may help Richmond Police put a man behind bars for two bank robberies.

Police say a man walked into the Gateway Bank by Patterson Avenue and Willow Lawn Drive on Wednesday and passed the teller a note demanding money. He didn't show any weapon and left on foot.

Police think he may also have been responsible for a robbery at the SunTrust Bank near Broad Street and Belmont Avenue last month. The suspect also passed a note to a teller demanding money, while not showing a weapon, in that robbery on November 21.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, approximately 20 to 30 years old and approximately 6'4" to 6'5." He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt and white sneakers.
