AUBURN, AL (WSFA) -

Auburn's Southeastern Raptor Center is holding a LIVE auction for an interesting piece of Iron Bowl memorabilia that could become a prized collector's piece.

As is tradition at Auburn football home games, the crowd will watch as an eagle flies around the stadium, landing at the 50-yard line to thunderous cheers.

The auction, being conducted in an effort to raise money for the Raptor Center, will be for the lure and jesses worn by Tiger VII during the pre-game flight during the November 30 Iron Bowl.

Lures and jesses are what the eagle looks for during the flight around the stadium.

The auction will be open for bidding until December 4th at 11:00 a.m.

Proceeds from the auction benefit the Southeastern Raptor Center, a division of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.

The center is a nonprofit organization with a three-fold mission of wildlife rehabilitation, education and conservation.
