Richmond Police investigating armed robbery near VCU

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Richmond Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened not far from VCU.

Police tell us around 3:09 a.m. Sunday, the victim was walking in an alley on West Marshall Street, when he was approached by two armed men in the 400 block of N. Hancock Street.

Both suspects showed guns, before taking the victims wallet and cell phone.  One of the suspects then opened the wallet and discarded all of the victim's identification and credit cards. The suspects were last seen in the alley heading toward Belvidere. 

The first suspect was described as a black male in his 20's, 150 –170 pounds and approximately 5'10" tall with gold teeth.  He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie with a black and white beanie hat underneath and dreads. 

The second suspect was described as a black male in his 20's, 150 – 170 pounds and approximately 5' 10" in height, also with gold teeth.  He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie and black square framed glasses.
