Lockdown lifted at 4 Richmond schools

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Officials have lifted a lockdown at four Richmond public schools after they couldn't find any evidence of gunfire.

Armstrong High School, MLK Middle School, Fairfield Court Elementary School, and Woodville Elementary School were all placed on a code red lockdown at 1:30 p.m. as police are responding to reports of shots fired on Phaup Street in Fairfield Court.

The lockdown was lifted around 2:15 p.m. as police could not find any victim or evidence of gunfire. No one is in custody.
