Henrico County Firefighters responded to a house fire late Monday night, from an apparent cooking fire.
The fire happened on the 7400 block of Moss Side Drive, which is off of Wilkinson road in the north side.
First arriving units reported heavy fire from a single-family, one-story residence. Fire was coming out the front door, and involved much of the structure. Four engine companies and two specialty service units were on the initial assignment.
Fire crews were able to get the fire under control within 18 minutes of arrival.
All residents of the house were able to make it out of the structure, without help from Henrico firefighters. One adult and six children were displaced from the fire.
The American Red Cross has been called for assistance. No injuries were reported due to the fire.
