Amtrak service suspended after train derails in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD (WWBT) -

An Amtrak train heading to Miami from New York derailed Monday night in Baltimore.

The lead wheels of the train came off the rails in the B&P Tunnel around 7 p.m.

All passenger cars remained upright. None of the 158 passengers reported any injuries.

Service was restored, but travelers could still encounter delays.
