Acne is a health issue that plagues many people. It is important to be aware of treatment in case it ever become bothersome.
In Cloverhill, Dr. Christopher Marshall is treating acne.
He suggests avoiding rubbing alcohol or alcohol-based astringents (drying agents) as they can overly dry the skin and cause cracking that may make acne worse.
Oily foods and chocolate do not cause acne, oily skin does. Don't squeeze pimples, it delays healing and increases the risk of scarring.
If acne fails to respond to conservative management or becomes inflamed and cystic, see a doctor.
