Chesterfield Police need your help finding four robbery suspects. Police say three women distracted the clerk at the Exxon on Woods Edge Road while a male suspect went straight for the bank bag in the back office.
"I'm very confident that once this story airs, someone is going to recognize this," said Detective Kevin Bacon. "It appears that they were signaling each other through gestures."
Police say the women distracted the men at the counter by asking about a cigarette purchase. The male suspect allegedly then went in the back office and managed to get away with $5,000 in cash.
The first suspect is described as a black male, about 40-50 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 200 pounds. He had short black hair, a mustache, a full beard and a slight overbite. He was wearing a pink dress shirt, tan dress pants and a black leather jacket.
The remaining suspects were described as black females. One woman was about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build; she was wearing a white shirt, white Capri pants and a brown jacket. The second woman was about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a heavy build; she was wearing a dark colored dress. The third woman was wearing a white hat, black Capri pants and a T-shirt.
