PRINCE GEORGE, VA (WWBT) - A Prince George Middle school teacher accused of being drunk on school grounds is now out of a job.

Special education teacher Darin Vaughn was removed by the School Board this week.

Prince George Superintendent Dr. Bobby Browder says Vaughn was fired under the district's zero tolerance policy.

Staff at Moore Middle noticed Vaughn was drunk before classes started Tuesday. Vaughn had just been hired by the district this year, but had previously an educator at another district before this school year
