Chesterfield road re-opens following brush fire

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

All lanes along West Hensley Road are back open after a brush fire shut the road down during the morning commute.

The flames broke out around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 13900 block of Winterpock Road. That's close to Beach Road. As a result, West Hensley Road had to be shut down as crews worked to control the situation.

The road was re-opened around 7:00 a.m.
