TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Units from the Avra Valley Fire District responded to a mobile home fire at approximately 4:30 this morning.

Neighbors reported that vacant double-wide mobile home had smoke and flames coming from the front door, according to Patrick Calhoun of Avra Valley Fire.

When firefighters arrived, they tried to make entry into the home from the rear of the structure, but found that the floor of the mobile home was engulfed in flames.

The firefighters went defensive and started extinguishing the flames that engulfed the floor and the flames in two other bedrooms of the home.

The home was vacant and up for sale. There were no injuries to firefighters or anybody on scene. The estimated damages are at $90,000 dollars and the fire is under investigation at this time.
