Firefighters will be back out this morning searching for anyone who may still be in distress following a water rescue attempt last night.. Just before six last night, someone called police claiming to hear a person in the water, near The City Point Pier in Hopewell, calling for help. Fire crews searched the dark waters by boat and by helicopter. This went on for several hours -- but we're told around 8:30, the search was called off because it was just too dark.
