New restaurant bringing 90 jobs to Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

A new restaurant in the city will open up before the year is out, and bring 90 new jobs with it.

On Saturday, officials from Luxe Burger Bar held a job fair at their site on Hall of Fame Avenue.

The new jobs will be a mix of full time and part time positions.

Luxe officials said they are OK with other burger places in the area, as each one has their own menu that stands out.

It has also taken a little longer than expected to get up and running because of the amount of renovations that were needed in the building.

Officials expect construction to be complete in a couple of weeks.

They said the restaurant should be open to the public in early December.
