Missing boater

Good morning from Gray. Here's a look at some of the stories you will want to catch before you leave the house on 12 News Today.

In just a few hours, the search will continue for a man believed to have fallen off of  a fishing boat in the Chesapeake Bay yesterday. The Coast Guard says they are searching an area about five miles east of the mouth of the Rappahannock River.

NBC 12 has confirmed that President Barack Obama will headline a "Get Out The Vote" event on Sunday for Democrat Terry McAuliffe. Officials are remaining tight lipped this morning about the details of the event, only that it'll take place in Northern Virginia. The news comes as former President Bill Clinton, today continues his third day of a four day tour of Virginia in support of McAuliffe.

Despite being several points behind in the polls, Republican Ken Cuccinelli's campaign is getting his share of political heavyweight support.  Cuccinelli and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal are holding a "Get Out The Vote" rally today in Bristow starting at 4.
Jindal is seen by many as a rising star in the Republican Party, perhaps best known for delivering the GOP's response in 2009 to the President's State of The Union Address.

Happening today, a vigil is planned for a Caroline County student who died last week. 14-year old Ciera Moore shot herself - and family members say it's because she was relentlessly bullied at school. Moore was laid to rest this weekend. We're told the vigil is set for seven this evening at the high school, on Rogers Clark Boulevard.
