Good morning from Gray. Here's a look at some of the stories you will want to catch before you leave the house on 12 News Today. 

Richmond police are investigating two armed robberies. In the first one, a woman pizza delivery driver was held up at gunpoint.  It happening in the 3200 block of Fourth Avenue. The crook got away with money and pizza.   The next one happened less than four hours later, in the 2700 block of Midlothian Turnpike. The victim was robbed at gunpoint on the street by a masked man. The suspect made off with that man's wallet and his cell phone.

Happening today, a former Cosby High School basketball player is in court facing 13 charges. He's accused of a violent home invasion in his own neighborhood.

New details about a case we've been keeping our eye on from Northern Virginia. Police say an heiress to a multi-million dollar candy fortune fell asleep at the wheel before a crash that killed an elderly woman.  Police say charges are pending against 73-year-old Jacqueline Mars after she crossed a median, and hit a minivan earlier this month. 

The government will release its latest jobs report today. The report was delayed due to the partial government shutdown, so, there will be no reflection of the shutdown in this latest report from The Department of Labor. Analysts predict better numbers in this report after a soft summer.
