Hampton teenager charged in domestic stabbing

HAMPTON, VA (WWBT) -

A Hampton area teenager is in jail after police say he stabbed a 36-year-old man multiple times.

Officers responded to the 2200 block of Shell Road around 10:30 Saturday night for reports of a stabbing.

The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition, but is expected to survive.

Police say the incident was a domestic situation, but have not released any specific details.

The 17-year-old suspect was taken into custody without incident, and has been charged with use of a knife in the commission of a felony.
