Driver charged in accident that injured 3 on I-95 in Richmond

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

A 20 year old is now facing charges related to an accident on I-95 North in Richmond.

State Troopers responded to a three vehicle crash around 12:14 p.m. Sunday on I-95 North near the Belvidere exit. They say the driver of a 2007 Saturn hydroplaned and lost control striking two other vehicles. 

Three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Saturn, 20 year old Anna Watson was charged with reckless driving and failure to maintain proper control. 

All northbound lanes were blocked for a couple of hours.
