Shred Identity Theft Program

All shredding events are held between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Bring up to two boxes (10"x13"x18" - average copy paper box size) or three paper grocery bags of your personal documents to one of the events listed.  No recyclable paper, such as telephone books or magazines, will be accepted.  The chart lists the date and locations of the scheduled shredding events.

Identity theft is a growing problem, so citizens are encouraged to clean out personal documents and bring them to this shredding event.  Identity theft can wreak havoc in a person's life by ruining a person's credit or wiping out entire bank accounts, and it can take months or even years to clear one's name and financial records.  Prevention and awareness are two crime-fighting tools that can help citizens deter identity thieves.
