Police arrest several suspects after McDonald's robbery

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

Police swarmed a gas station Thursday morning, arresting several men.

Witnesses say SWAT and police officers surrounded a car at the Circle K on Willis Road at 6:30 a.m.

"There was two guys in the front, a driver and a passenger," said Tracy Mustian. "The alleged suspects, however you want to say it, there were two in the trunk. They were literally in the trunk and it was shut full fledged like they was hiding."

Police say the four male suspects were apprehended after a robbery in Dinwiddie County. Investigators are currently working to determine is the suspects could be connected to 15-20 fast food robberies throughout the region - including McDonald's restaurants robbed on Hull Street, Hancock Village, and just up the road on Willis Drive.
