FBI releases video, images of Navy Yard shooter

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WWBT) - The FBI released new images Wednesday in last week's shooting at the Washington Navy Yard.

Officials released the surveillance images of the gunman, Aaron Alexis, during an afternoon briefing in Washington.

The surveillance video and images show Alexis in the hallway with a shotgun, his backpack, his rental car and closeups of his weapons. Carved into the weapons are the phrases "Better off this way!," "My ELF weapon!" "Not what yall say!" and "End to the torment."
