President Obama address nation on Syria

Good morning from Gray. Here's a look at some of the stories you will want to catch before you leave the house on 12 News Today.

New this morning, Richmond police are looking for two robbers, one of them possibly armed. The robbery happened on Meadow Street, not too far from West Cary Street in Downtown Richmond.

Cleanup will begin this morning following a Chesterfield house fire that sent three firefighters to the hospital. It happened on Greenfield Drive, in a neighborhood not far from Robious and Huguenot Roads.

Happening today, the man accused of stabbing is girlfriend more than 15 times, killing her, is due in court. Christopher Mosley faces first degree murder and abduction charges. The charges come after 18 year old Alexis Rose was found bleeding to death near a grocery store parking lot on April 30th.

Developing: Today President Obama will address the nation about why he thinks we should launch a military strike against Syria. A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll out just this morning, finds nearly 60% of Americans want their members of Congress to oppose military force there.

Plus, the recreational use of marijuana will be the topic of a Senate hearing today. But even for the states where it's already legal, people in the business say they still have an uphill climb.
