Missing Kenbridge woman's car found

Deputies have found the vehicle that belongs to missing woman has been found in the Beaver Creek Community of Lunenburg County.

Shortly after 12 p.m. Sunday, the Sheriff's Office was notified of an Oldsmobile Alero in a wooded area in the 900 block of Egg Drive. The car was found by a man using a bush hog in an adjacent path. Law enforcement immediately dispatched tracking K-9 to the scene to search the area for the car's driver, Virginia Edmonds.

Lunenburg County Sheriff Office and State Police have been searching for the 73 yr old Kenbridge woman since June 28, 2013. Ms. Edmonds has black eyes and short black hair, approximately  120 lbs in weight and her height is 5'5, last seen wearing a black members jacket and black shoes.

At this stage of the search, foul play is not suspected in her disappearance.
