In this week's Neighborhood Health Watch we discuss the risks cigarette smokers face during cold and flu season.
In Henrico Dr. William Ferrar is paying special attention to his patients with colds.
He tells us that as the cold season begins- smokers are more susceptible.
Smokers will also have more intense cold symptoms than non-smokers.
That is why it is important to stop smoking because cold symptoms will not be as bad. Quitting even for a little bit during cold season could make your life much easier.
