Child okay after accidental shooting in Richmond

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Richmond Police have arrested a person after a child was accidentally shot in the East End.

Police tell us the child was wounded by gunfire Saturday night inside a home in the 1300 block of Coalter Street. We are being told the child is expected to be okay.

They say an arrest has been made. That person is now charged with reckless handling of a firearm.
