Developing: There was an overnight robbery near VCU and police are looking for two men who allegedly did it. It happened around midnight on West Broad street. The victim is in his 20's. He is not a student.
We are two days away from the two year anniversary of the earthquake that rocked Louisa. Today, school leaders will break ground on a new school. The new building is set to open in time for the first day of school in 2015.@
The man accused of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl will go before a judge today. 36-year-old Joe Leake is accused of taking a child to his home and molesting her before returning the girl to her family. He is facing multiple charges this morning, including aggravated sexual battery.
Friends and family will join together to remember a student athlete killed over the weekend. A candlelight vigil will start at six tonight to remember 18-year-old Gary Ellis. Ellis was shot Saturday night while walking with friends to a party in Downtown Richmond. He later died at VCU Medical Center.
Also today, Army Private First Class, Bradley Manning will be sentenced. He was convicted of leaking hundreds of thousands of classified documents to the secret sharing website Wikileaks.@
