A man accused of causing a scare at a Northern Virginia elementary school will face grand jury Monday.
Police say 33-year-old Christopher Johnson walked into Sandy Hook Elementary in Strasburg, carrying a 2-by-4 board with the words "High Powered Rifle" written on it. This happened only days after the attack at Sandy Hook Elementary in Connecticut that killed 26.
Johnson told police he was attempting to deliver a message on school safety last December.
A disorderly conduct charge against Johnson has already been dropped.
