Million Second Quiz app could send you to compete in NYC

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

You have a chance to win the biggest prize in game show history.

The Million Second Quiz is coming to NBC and if you rack up enough points at home, you could be chosen to go to New York City and play live on TV for a chance at up to $10 million.

The show premieres next month, but you can download the free app now and start competing for your chance to be one of the 1,300 people that make the show.

Once you download, you can play against friends or strangers. You get 10 questions and 5 seconds to answer each.  It will find you a head to head match up from across the country and start asking questions.

How you do determines if we move on. Some of the questions are easy, some can be a little more difficult. If you score enough points, you can qualify to compete live on NBC for a huge cash prize starting September 9.

You can also play on your computer, by clicking here: http://www.nbc12.com/link/651955/play-the-million-second-quiz-online.
