After Saturday storms, Sunday's weather cooperated with the conclusion of the 4th Annual Richmond Jazz Festival at Maymont.
The event wrapped up with the sweet sounds of Michael McDonald.
Everywhere you looked, people were smiling and enjoying the smooth sounds of some of the biggest names in jazz.
"We love it. It's so warming to have all the artists come to visit and we've invited our friends from Atlanta this year. We've just been having a wonderful time," said Quandra Baker.
Jazz lovers flock from all over, descending on Richmond.
"It's the coolest thing. I think this is the best jazz festival in the East Coast, I'm saying that and I mean it," said Earl Richardson.
"It brings us together as a family and everybody is just one when they come to the Richmond Jazz Festival," Baker added.
And the fans didn't seem to mind the heat.
"It is worth desert-hot temperatures to come out here to see BWB. Did you see Jonathan Butler? Did you see Kurt get up there and sing? It's worth it," said Richardson.
Even though the festival just ended, jazz fans are already talking about their anticipation for next year.
