Three more people are behind bars in connection with a home invasion robbery earlier this week.
Police arrested 22-year-old Jeletha N. Sessions, 18-year-old Quandrel Lassiter and a 17-year-old boy in the connection with the robbery in the 1100 block of South Wedgemont Drive, near Lucks Lane and Courthouse Road, early Tuesday morning.
They are accused of storming into the house when a man opened the door, assaulting him and stealing electronics and other items, including his car. The victim told NBC12 they said they were police in order to get him to open the door, then tased him several times and beat him. He had to go to the ER for a broken nose, bruises all over his body, and stitches.
Police stopped his stolen car on Hull Street Road near Courthouse Road. The driver, Deondrik O. Sessions, tried to run but was caught. The passenger, Corey T. Hancock Jr., 20, was arrested at the scene.
The juvenile male suspect has been charged with robbery, abduction and kidnapping, conspiracy to commit a felony and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
