Innsbrook rape case update

Good morning from Gray. Here's a look at some of the stories you will want to catch before you leave the house on 12 News Today.

Today we'll learn if the man accused of rape at Henrico's Innsbrook Shoppes gets out of jail. Driton Sulemani has a bond hearing this morning. An affidavit says Sulemani met the victim in a group setting at "The Beach House" Bar Friday night. The narrative reads that Sulemani told the victim to follow him out back, behind the bar and that's where police say the attack happened.

A Virginia rapper is now in jail. Police say he is linked to a double homicide that happened six years ago in Newport News. In fact, one of his songs is possibly his confession. His name is Antwain Steward --- better known as "Twain Gotti"...

If you like using the "RVA Shoppers' Shuttle" we have some information you want to hear about. The city plans to start charging riders! Starting Friday, the shuttle will cost riders four dollars per round trip. The RVA Shoppers' Shuttle helps people living in "Food Deserts" gain access to healthy, nutritional, fresh food. The shuttle has five routes that run on the second and ninth day of each month and the third Saturday of each month.

New numbers in this morning show that not too many people are taking the friendly skies in the River City. Richmond International Airport experienced a dip in passenger traffic in June. Traffic at the airport decreased nearly 1 percent to 3.16 million passengers.
